Lena's Travel Sketchbook / A Day at the Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park in Key Biscayne, Fl

Updated: Jan 1

Sketching outside is so much fun! It's my passion, it's a great source of inspiration. If I am not working at my home art studio, I am sketching outside.

Recently, my husband and I had a chance to go to the Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park on Key Biscayne, Florida. It was the first time we went there. We were so excited because we love discovering beautiful Florida destinations. The images I had found on Internet made me want not only to visit this park, but also to create some drawings there.

What a great adventure it was! We spent several hours at the park, walking and admiring The Lighthouse; enjoying the picturesque view of the No Name Harbor while having the breakfast outside Boater's Grill Cafe; relaxing and dreaming at one of the fishing docks. Some of those locations I decided to capture in my sketchbook. I cannot wait to share them with you.
